Yesterday's Child is L.A.'s Tribute to the Masters of Classic Rock, awarded Best Cover Band for 2004 by both All Access Magazine and Rock City News.
"YC" plays top venues (House of Blues, BB King's) bringing the magic of classic rock to audiences around Southern California. Recreating music originally produced between 1965 and 1975, setlists include songs by Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, and Pink Floyd, as well as one-hit wonders like The Knickerbockers and The Shocking Blue.
2008 sees the band also performing the best of the music of Cream in a special tribute presentation.
YC's "Rockshow" is a step back to an era when rock music was changing the world. The music and lyrics reflect those times and the band looks forward to performing this music for a new generation...and for those who remember. As they like to say, "We're bringin' GROOVY back, one gig at a time".
Yesterday's Child is: Jim Nardini (lead vocal & percussion), Ziggy (guitar & vocal), Mark Thorne (bass & vocal), Andy Carellos (guitar & vocal) and Mike Appleman (drums & vocal).
